All-inclusive resorts provide that wonderful feeling of luxury, combined with the comfort that nearly everything is included in the room price, so you don’t have to stress over price tags. The Maldives has over 80 different water-villa hotels, and nearly 20 of them operate on an all-inclusive basis, or at least a full-board basis. The best all-inclusive Maldives resorts are among the best in the world, especially for overwater villa lovers.

We know that some people are looking for the best all-inclusive Maldives has to offer, while others are more interested in the best price. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that the best Maldives all-inclusive resorts are also among the most expensive, but a few of the reasonably priced ones make it on the list as well. The good news is that only a few Maldives resorts actually get poor reviews, so almost all of them are either very good or excellent.

Lily Beach Resort and Spa – Maldives

One of the highest rated of all Maldives resorts, the Lily Beach Resort & Spa is definitely the highest rated of those that operate on an all-inclusive basis.

The whole resort was totally refurbished and reopened in 2009 as a deluxe 5-star property. There are 3 different room categories, with even the smallest of the 3 being very large.

The all-inclusive deal here is called the Platinum Plan, and it’s one of the most generous in the Maldives. All meals are obviously included, and here premium liquor is also part of the deal, as are cigarettes. The normal rates at the Lily Beach put it into the super-luxury category, and during the peak season months of December and January, it’s hard to find any availability at all in the water villas.

Lily Maa is an open-air restaurant with panoramic lagoon views, an all-day buffet and a selection of 70 premium wines. Tamarind Restaurant serves a fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisine while The Wave offers fresh lobster. Chinese breakfast options are available.  If you want to enjoy your life this place is for you only.

Veligandu Island Resort Water villas

Veligandu Island Resort Water villas absolutely the best of the inexpensive all-inclusive Maldives resorts.

The Veligandu Island is very highly rated and gets many repeat customers every year. It’s a medium-sized private island with lots of dining and activity options, with prices similar to some of the much-larger resorts where personal service is harder to come by.

At the Veligandu they offer very affordable “full board” plans that include 3 meals per day, but for a small extra fee you can opt for the “all-inclusive” plan that includes meals as well as all drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, plus extras like a sunset cruise, snorkeling lesson, and use of the fitness center and kayaks.

Jacuzzi Water Villas are located over-the-water, in the lagoon…a short walk along your private jetty to this secluded hideaway with a private walled-in outdoor area featuring a Jacuzzi for two “under the stars”, a wooden sundeck, chaise lounges, a shaded area, tropical plants, a private sundeck with stairs into the sea and the most magnificent views of all. This is the best place to spend time with your loved one. Be there and just give them awful surprises.

Constance Moofushi Resort Maldives Water villas

ConstanceMoofushiMaldivesAerial300Only open since late 2010, the Constance Moofushi Resort is one of the newest and most modern 5-star private-island resorts in the Maldives.

The whole island operates on an all-inclusive basis, with a very generous package of things included, like 3 meals a day, premium liquor, stocked minibar in your room, cigarettes, afternoon tea, and a long list of activities and water sports.

The Constance Moofushi is getting excellent reviews so far and prices you’ll see are often higher than the online special prices quoted below, so you have to get lucky to get the best deals. Still, even at higher prices this is a resort to consider because it compares favorably to many others that charge much more.

Romantic dinner under the stars, sunbathing on powder soft beaches, blissful spa treatments or just lazing around in your luxurious villa while watching the endless turquoise water. There are endless ways to let the magic of the island amaze you. I guess I don’t need any other reason to visit there.

Kuramathi Island Resort Water villas

The San Juan Mountains of Colorado are amongst the newest on the continent and as such are like a huge set of razor sharp dragon’s teeth, which in our humble opinion, makes for some of the best skiing in US.

On the surface this resort might not seem an obvious choice at these rates, but it gets excellent reviews and many return visitors, so they are obviously doing things right. In fact, the rooms impress with Wi-Fi, an entertainment system, a semi open bathroom and a rain shower alongside many other great amenities.

The plans here are called “full board” which means that all meals are included, as are most activities, but alcohol and other premium things cost extra. You can opt for the all-inclusive plans here, which do include wine with meals, for only a little more. This is a very good choice for those looking for a larger all-inclusive resort and who aren’t necessarily big drinkers.

Set in the middle of our vast turquoise lagoon, the Deluxe Water Villa feature a king-sized bed and a daybed. The spacious bathroom offers a freestanding bath, and opens onto an expansive deck with steps down to the azure waters. In addition to the wide range of in-villa amenities, all villas from this category upwards also feature a fuller minibar complete with a separate wine chiller featuring over 30 bottles from around the globe.

Cantera Grand Island Resort & Spa Water villas

luxurious 4-star all-inclusive resort, the Cantera Grand Island Resort & Spa has 62 water villas in 3 different styles and sizes in addition to its 42 island rooms.

The basic all-inclusive package comes with food and most drinks, but the resort also offers a premium Island Club level that also includes an additional restaurant and other features.

The Cantera Grand Maldives isn’t one of the cheaper all-inclusive resort islands, but it is well worth it for many guests looking for something special. All the water villas here are large and well appointed, and almost all of them feature a Jacuzzi spa and a heavenly rain shower on the deck. Reviews of this resort are very good so it’s a popular choice in the mid-range market already.

Surrounded by the blue ocean of the South Ari Atoll, and distinctive with its timbered walkways and colonial-style buildings, Cantera Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives is a barefoot paradise with a palm-fringed beach and shimmering lagoon that offers the perfect island holiday for everyone.

With 112 spacious villas set over-water, and suites blending harmoniously with the natural setting, the island has a wealth of activities and superb facilities that makes this an ideal hideaway for couples and honeymooners, or a fun-filled destination for families.

There are exceptional opportunities to discover the exotic life of Maldives underwater, with a house reef that is a kaleidoscope of color for snorkelers, a shipwreck dive site just off the island, and easy access to some of the most famous dive sites in the world.

With our Ultimate All-Inclusive concept, your stay on our tropical island is absolutely carefree, with dining, rejuvenating, playing and exploring all included.

Vakarufalhi Island Resort Water villas

A very popular and traditional Maldives private-island hotel, the Vakarufalhi Island Resort added 25 water villas to its 50 beach villas only in 2009, so the water villas still have a very modern feel. This is also a smaller all-inclusive resort where most guests go barefoot for days at a time, so it’s a favorite for the casual crowd. There is a “full board” plan and a “full board plus” plan, which also includes drinks and a massage, among other things.

The water villas are loaded with amenities, including a semi open-air bathroom and garden plus a 42″ plasma TV and DVD player. The restaurant is known for high quality and good variety, and there are many water sports and other daytime activities to choose from. Vakarufalhi Island gets described as “paradise” by many past guests so they are obviously doing something right.
